Filling the mold for stereotypical high school cheerleaders, Cheerleading Captain Tina Hammersmith is snobby, superficial, and condescending to those around her. Fellow cheerleader Whittier Smith decides she's had enough of the uppity treatment and forms her own ragtag team of less than flawless cheerleaders and then challenges the elite team to represent the college.
