The Blind Side was the 2009 movie starring Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw which won Bullock the Academy Award for Best Actress. The movie talks about the real life story of NFL player Micheal Oher who would come from the depths of despair in Memphis, Tennesee and become adopted by a rich white family, which is depicted by Bullock and McGraw.
McGraw plays Sean Tuohy, a former University of Mississippi basketball star, and Bullock plays Leigh Anne, a former Ole Miss cheerleader. They become successful as the Tuohy's own several dozen Taco Bell franchises. The story details Oher's rise in prep football and the entailing investigation into whether the Tuohy's influenced him to go to Ole Miss and if their money had anything to do with it. The Tuohy's would eventually adopt Oher and become part of their family. Oher would be drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in 2009.
This is a very heart touching movie and is definitely one of the best sports movies that have ever been made.
