Movie Description

High school wrestling is the subject of the 2010 action-drama, Legendary, from WWE Studios. Mel Damski, a former college athlete, directed.

Cal (Devon Graye) is the youngest brother in an Oklahoma family, and he (so far) hasn't followed the path of his older brother Mike (John Cena), or his late father, who both were star wrestlers. The family hasn't been in contact with Mike for ten years, but when Cal decides to try his hand at wrestling, the oldest son reappears, secretly coaching his little brother from his jail cell.

Legendary is very predictable, utilizing virtually every cliche and set-up veteran filmgoers will recognize immediately. Still, it's a decent family film with effective performances.

Patricia Clarkson and Danny Glover are notable cast members for the film, which was shot entirely in New Orleans.
