Movie Description

High school lacrosse is the focal point of A Warrior's Heart, a film directed by Mike Sears, perhaps better known for his television documentaries such as War Games and Eco Challenge British Columbia.

Conor Sullivan, high school lacrosse star, isn't handling his family's cross-country move from California to suburban D.C. well, and when his Marine father is killed in Iraq, his attitude worsens, leading to his being kicked off the team due to his violent behavior. To the rescue comes a former comrade of his father's, and after a less-than-promising beginning, Conor sees the light and turns his life around.

In a casting move more than likely intended to draw in fans of the wildly popular Twilight series, two of the vampire-themed program's stars, Kellan Lutz (Conor) and Ashley Greene (Brooklyn, Conor's love interest) portray A Warrior's Heart's leads. Adam Beach (Joe Dirt, Flags Of Our Fathers, Smoke Signals) and Gabrielle Anwar (Scent Of a Woman, Burn Notice) are other noted cast members.
