Movie Description

New kid in town, sibling rivalry and Little League baseball are the ingredients for Home Run Showdown, a sports comedy co-written by John Bella and Tim Cavanaugh and directed by Oz Scott.

Failing to make the team doesn't discourage 12-year old Lorenzo (or Lori, for short) from trying to make his mark in his new town. Instead, he enlists the help of the few friends he's made to try and cajole Joey DeLuca, a has-been former minor-leaguer, to coach the new team Lorenzo puts together. Joey is reluctant, primarily because he'd be forced to compete against his brother, a former major-leaguer who's tasted considerable success and never fails to rub Joey's nose in it. When an opportunity to shag balls at the annual major-league Home Run Showdown turns into an inheritance battle for the DeLuca family business, the stakes get even higher.

Cast members include Matthew Lillard, Dean Cain, Barry Bostwick, Annabeth Gish and Kyle Kirk.
