Movie Description
The sequel to 2002’s Blue Crush, Blue Crush 2 has little in common with the original other than featuring three girl surfers who are striving to attain their dreams.
The setting in this edition isn’t Oahu, but South Africa, and like the original, the scenery is stunning and eye-catching. Dana (Sasha Jackson) is an accomplished surfer who finds herself at odds with her father and stepmother over the 18-year old’s future. The parents expect her to continue on to college, while Dana is determined to pursue her true passion, surfing.
In addition, Dana’s late mother was a South African native, and the girl, armed with her mother’s journal for inspiration and motivation, learns as much or more about life, love and relationships as surfing on her journey.
