Movie Description
The ever-popular "road trip" is the focus of Extreme Days, an end-of-school, Christian-based comedy-romance-adventure. Directed and co-written by Eric Hannah, the film follows the experiences of four lifelong friends who’ve just graduated from junior-college and embark on an adventurous summer-long trip they’ve planned for years.
With money earned and saved from various part-time jobs, the four set off for Mexico, where they enjoy the unpredictable surf of Larosarita. A phone call, informing one of the revelers that his grandfather has died, alters their plans somewhat, and they head north to Washington to pay their respects.
The group’s trip is complicated by an accidental encounter with Jessie, one of the four’s beautiful cousin, who immediately becomes the object of another of the group’s affection, bringing the film a dash of romance. After various "road" shenanigans, including a paintball fight, the group arrives at their destination, only to discover that the alleged inherited car from the deceased grandfather is actually a clunker, forcing the group to scramble for a way back home.
The cast includes relative unknowns Dante Basco, Ryan Browning, A.J Buckley and Derek Hamilton, and the soundtrack features songs from several notable alt-Christian artists, including TobyMac, Skillet, John Reuben, Tait and The Newsboys.
